What’s on during the week?
Wednesdays: Holy Communion: Every week at 10.00am.
Usually held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. Come and experience God’s love and healing touch
as we worship him, listen to his word and allow him to meet with us at our Soul Care (Healing) Services.
We usually arrive at 7:00pm for a cup of coffee and aim to starting at 7:30pm.
House groups are run at different times during the month. Alpha courses are held regularly throughout the
year. See our Alpha page for full details.
Alongside prayer in the services and the opportunity to receive personal prayer (after the main 10:00am
service on Sunday morning), we have regular prayer times on Wednesday evenings and there are also
various prayer events throughout the month.
There is a music group and choir that share in leading our worship (depending on the style of service). The
music group lead the worship for our Sunday morning services at 10:00am and the Choir for the more
traditional evening services.
Local community: We organise a number of events throughout the year and are delighted to invite our
neighbours to come and enjoy the time together, be it for worship or for a variety of social activities.
A wide range of groups use the Church hall on a regular basis -
for various functions -
The Sick and Housebound: We are very happy to offer pastoral visits and/or home communion to anyone
in the parish who is unable to attend church for reasons of ill health.
Family Events: Baptisms, dedications, thanksgivings, weddings, blessings of civil marriages and funerals
all take place at St Paul’s.
Special Events: Besides those activities mentioned above, we have many church social events as well.
Examples of past and future events include: Church Lunch and Ramble, Church Picnic with a chance for a
try at canoeing, Cinema evening, Men’s Evening, Ladies Evening, BBQ’s, Coffee mornings etc etc.
